Preston is the youngest member of Friends of Hairston Park, and we are so grateful to have him as a part of the team. As a committed member, Preston even devoted part of his spring break vacation by volunteering during one of our workdays. He is a quick learner, and has become quite impressive with the privet puller in the Serenity Garden. 

Preston is homeschooled and is in fourth grade. He attends virtual classes through Lotus & Ivy Waldorf Homeschooling. Preston loves to cook and loves all things science-related especially conducting science experiments. He also enjoys playing chess, participating in ranger activities, and has been playing cello for three years. Preston has routinely volunteered with Trees Atlanta and EMBARC Park. Preston participates in MYSO Atlanta’s Sinfonietta Orchestra and Soccer in the Streets.
